When the Screen Goes Dark
Café Chez Nous, Redwood City, California
July 26, 2026

When the Screen Goes Dark was an intimate exhibition about memory, dreams, and images of childhood that continue to live within us into adulthood.
At its center were paintings by Anna Feldman. Her work addressed nostalgia, inner states, and visual codes that are difficult to explain in words but immediately recognizable. Photographic works by Tata Scutelnic were presented in dialogue with the paintings, adding a more spectral, bodily, and cinematic register.
For the exhibition, curator Nelli Nedre created a digital guide designed to slow the viewing process and encourage a more personal encounter with the work.
